centillion 100 hacking

I had bought an old BayNetworks Centillion 100 off ebay and the MCP board came with a password which the seller did not know. So I had to figure this out or I could not use the thing at all. I have included screen captures from this and if you click on the images, you will get full res pictures.

technology keeps amazing me

I admit it, I don’t keep up with technology as much as I used to. Blasphemy for a geek such as me, I know, so I’m trying to keep up with it more lately. Here are some outstandingly cool things I’ve come across that’s really transforming (or should) our culture.

CBS embedding video into magazines – I see this and think that maybe it’s inspiration came from movies.  Pretty awesome.

Augmented reality on your cell phone – the picture says it all. Read more on HackADay.
