This is my attempt to to build a working, functional WOPR. For those of you who don’t know what it is, if you recall from the movie Wargames, the WOPR was the super computer that just about destroyed the world.
Features:
- Fully working telnet server. The code for the main application running on here will be called joshua. You can find the code for it in the code archive, but note that it is in development.
- 19″ rackspace for servers and switches.
- Runs a linux distro, right now it’s slackware. I might change to either gentoo or arch sometime later on.
– Current hardware specs: Intel Mobile Pentium @ 92Mhz, 192MB ram.
- Lots of blink lights, in true ’80s style.
